Euthanasia rates have risen steeply in Canada. We’re on track to euthanize 7,000 people this year alone. Euthanasia “targets” similar people as COVID-19: elderly, disabled, and chronically ill. Yet our culture celebrates one and makes all-out-war on the other. What can we learn from this and how should we respond?
This webinar will explain Canada’s law on euthanasia – where we’ve come from and where we’re headed. We will examine common pro-euthanasia arguments and how to respond to them. Most importantly, we will examine the religious roots of the deep divide between secular liberalism’s view of euthanasia and the Christian view.
