From markdurie.com: The Australian Government is holding a national inquiry into multiculturalism.  In relation to this, The Australian newspaper reported on 17 May 2011 that the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils (AFIC) has requested the introduction of Sharia law under the umbrella of multiculturalism (the AFIC submission can be downloaded here: other submissions can be found here).
